Everyone at Evergreen Pediatric Dentistry is serious about offering kids the best dental care possible. You can count on us to explain your child’s oral needs in a way that is easy to understand. Your concerns will be addressed. It’s important that both you and your child are free from worry when it comes to oral care.
Keeping your kids comfortable is one of our top priorities. To make our treatments as pain-free as we can, we provide drill-free fillings and deliver anesthesia without the sting of a syringe. Plus, you have a choice of dental sedation to ease anxiety about dental visits, to help during a longer procedure, or if your child has difficulty sitting comfortably for extended periods of time. Your child can receive inhaled sedation, better known as laughing gas, or general anesthesia, which is administered by a medical anesthesiologist. We are happy to answer any questions you have to help you determine which sedation option is best for your child.
We offer various types of kid-friendly treatments and services:
- Pediatric Dental Exam – Routine exams can detect problems in the early stages. Infants and small toddlers receive a “lap-to-lap” examination of your child’s teeth.
- Digital X-rays – Part of your regular visits are X-rays to monitor developing teeth, bones, and nerves. Digital X-rays also used a fraction of the radiation of film X-rays machines.
- Professional Cleanings – Our hygienists thoroughly clean and polish your children’s teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and bacteria and reduce the risk of decay and gum disease.
- Fluoride Varnish – As a preventive measure, we may recommend fluoride to make your child’s teeth more resistant to cavities.
- ICON Drill-Free Fillings – These fillings use a penetrating liquid to repair a tooth affected by decay.
- Tooth-Colored Fillings – Your child’s fillings also won’t become a distraction because we can make them with resin that matches the color of their teeth instead of metal fillings.
- Metal-Free Dental Crowns – Get a natural-looking crown for your child to cover and strengthen a damaged tooth to prevent problems from getting worse and to restore the function of the tooth.
- Pulpotomies – To repair your kid’s infected tooth, we can remove the inner part of the tooth referred to as the pulp and replace it with a special material to preserve the tooth.
