Common Questions About Dental Emergencies
Can you help with my child’s dental emergency?
With over twenty years of experience, Dr. Susan has expertly handled numerous pediatric dental emergencies. You can trust in her proficiency and care to restore your child’s smile. Our dedicated dental team provides compassionate and gentle treatment, ensuring your child receives the highest quality care during any dental emergency.
What are common dental emergencies that kids have?
There are few emergencies that Dr. Susan hasn’t seen in her many years of practice. Some are certainly more common than others. Emergencies that we see often include toothaches caused by a cavity or an infection, cracked teeth, broken teeth and even gum disease. In most cases, we’re able to resolve all these situations with restorative dentistry.
Can I take my child to the ER for dental emergencies?
Yes, you can go to the ER. But remember, they don’t have dentists to do fillings or extractions. If there’s an infection, they can provide antibiotics until you see us. ER doctors might also prescribe stronger pain relief than over-the-counter options.
What if I have a dental emergency without insurance?
Lack of dental insurance shouldn’t mean lesser care. We’ll treat your dental emergency and offer various payment methods, including third-party financing through CareCredit. We’re committed to ensuring you receive the necessary care.
