Putting Smiles on Kids’ Faces

Dr. Susan hails from Long Island, New York, and earned her BA in Psychology and Education from Wellesley College in 1995. After teaching in Seoul for a year, she returned to the U.S. to receive her dental degree from Columbia University in 2000. She specialized in pediatric dentistry at Columbia, completing her postdoctoral training in 2002. Dr. Susan is certified in Vivos, HealthyStart, Myo Munchee, Myobrace and is a member of the AAPMD (American Academy of Physiological Medicine) .

She practiced in New York and New Jersey before moving to the Pacific Northwest, where she provided dental services to Native American children, a role she found particularly rewarding. Dr. Susan is loved by her patients for her kindness and gentleness, and she is passionate about making a positive impact on children’s oral health and overall well-being.

Dr. Susan’s professional achievements Include:

  • Recognized as a Top Pediatric Dentist by Seattle Met from 2012 to the present.
  • Former president of the Korean American Health Professionals Association (KAHPA).
  • Active member of the American Laser Study Club.
  • Member of the Washington State Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
  • Ambassador for The Breathe Institute.
  • Certified AHS Airway Dentist.

Dr. Susan stays active with her four boys and enjoys cooking various dishes, including Korean cuisine and a notable paella. She keeps fit, golfs when possible, and loves reading whenever she can.
